Address Verification
All students MUST update or confirm their address information as new students and every fall quarter. Additionally, you are encouraged to update your address information as necessary throughout the year.

Please Note: UCSB mail is not forwarded by the U.S. Postal Service.

A block may be placed against your registration if you do not update or confirm your address. The office of the Registrar maintains several address categories used by campus departments and offices as required:

Updates to any/all of these addresses can be made:
  1. Use GOLD. This will instantly record your address change.
 

2. By submitting a written request to the Office of the Registrar.  Requests must include:

  • Student's Name
  • Perm number  or   Social Security number
  • Student's Signature

  3. Change of Address Forms are also available at the Office of the Registrar.

Note: Address changes cannot be made over the telephone.
